Moderno Lighting Limited Warranty

Moderno Lighting stands behind the quality and craftsmanship of all our products. We warrant that our products are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the periods outlined below, effective from the date of purchase.

This Limited Warranty is **non-transferable** and is only valid for the **original end-user purchaser**. The warranty covers the replacement or repair of the defective product or component and excludes damage resulting from improper installation, accident, misuse, abuse, or normal wear and tear.


1. Warranty Period

Product Type Warranty Duration Coverage Details
Fixtures with Regular Light Bulb Finish One (1) Year Covers the fixture body, electrical components, and finish (excluding the replaceable bulb itself).
Integrated LED Products Three (3) Years Covers the entire fixture, including the integrated LED arrays and drivers, against failure.

2. What Moderno Lighting Will Do

If a product covered by this warranty is proven to be defective within the specified warranty period, Moderno Lighting will, at its sole discretion:

  1. Repair the defective part or product using new or refurbished parts.

  2. Replace the defective product with a new or refurbished product of the same or comparable style and quality.


3. Exclusions from Warranty

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal Wear and Tear: Including minor scratches, fading, or minor discoloration of finishes over time.

  • Misuse or Improper Installation: Damage caused by incorrect assembly, improper voltage, unauthorized repairs, or failure to follow installation and care instructions.

  • External Causes: Damage from fire, natural disasters, vandalism, power surges, or other external causes.

  • Replaceable Bulbs: For regular light bulb fixtures, this warranty covers the fixture itself, but does not cover the life or performance of any non-integrated, replaceable light bulbs (even if they were included with the fixture).


4. How to Submit a Warranty Claim (Revised for Retail Store Submission)

To obtain warranty service, the **original end-user purchaser must contact the authorized retail store where the product was purchased.**

The purchaser must provide the retail store with:

  1. The original Proof of Purchase (order number or dated sales receipt).

  2. Clear photographs and a detailed description of the claimed defect.

Important: The authorized retail store is responsible for initiating the warranty claim directly with Moderno Lighting.

Moderno Lighting reserves the right to examine the defective product or component before authorizing repair or replacement. Any shipping or handling costs associated with the return of a product for warranty service may be the responsibility of the purchaser or the retail store, as agreed between them.
